Home needed in PAI have a VERY hand-tame pigeon. Absoltuely NOT showable or breeder quality. This bird is a PET. His mother became very sick and abandoned him, and he was attacked by his father. This attack caused a ruptured air sack and he had to be hand fed for nearly a month while he healed. He learned to eat on his own within a few days, however refused to do so unless a human hand was in the cage with him at the time.
She is a gorgeous little Old Dutch Capuchine. Ok, so maybe I don't know the gender for sure. But I am looking for a good PET HOME for this bird. No charge of course. Just a good, knowledgable home, or a good home that is willing to learn about pgieon care. NO SHIPPING. This bird will eat out of your hand. He loves to walk around on the floor and "explore" the house, and is trained to fly back into his cage when playtime is over. A parrot-sized cage would be fine for him if he recieves enough "playtime" outside the cage. He would be fine as the only bird as long as he has plenty of human company. Will eat grain or pellets. LOVES Quaker Oats as a treat. Not afraid of dogs. To a local home only.
