parlor tumbler breed, CORRECTEDthe parlor tumbler is not the same, or part or at all close to, or bred into, or from the parlor ROLLER (originally, as many now mix them with, into flying and parlor ROLLERS).
parlor TUMBLER: a distinct and unique breed in itself that its judged on three classifications.. one, double, and triple, flips or TUMBLES, were the bird jumps or tried to fly up, and TUMBLES or flips in the air, landing back on its feet in hopefully same or close to spot started (usually by chalking a line or underside of feet). parlor ROLLER: a distinct breed, aside from the parlor TUMBLER, were the parlor ROLLER continuously spins or ROLLS, on the ground, hopefully in straight line, for distance of ROLLS, for football field judging of lengths, out of control and just stops whenever it runs out of energy or hits something, just flopped down any way. these two are great and beautiful breeds in own rights each, but separate and distinct breeds originally, and had been separate for long time, at least until recent misinformation has been mixing the parlor TUMBLERS into the parlor ROLLERS. please help recognition of these two distinct breeds, and if you have acquired the description of parlor TUMBLER, please breed them together, or find someone who wants to work with the breed to enjoy and respect for what they are.
