Its a hen that has never even mated to any of my birds but is attached to my loft.

re-homeI moved a few years ago I have a silver stassrt cock that flew as a yb and a yrlg priorto the move. As a 2 yr. old he won our club 500...as a three yr.old he won our club 600 there were 2 2nd day birds in our club his nephew was the 2nd.... so they can be re-homed with some success

I have been given some stock birds from the best guys in my club this year, the other day the wind picked up real bad and blew the loft door open while I was in there, I have latches but because it was calm and I was naive I chose to not latch it shut, Anyway, 6 really good birds, All on young, All got out, 3 back in that night, 3 by lunch the next day, I have since given them open loft each day and they are happily loft flying and pecking around in the garden. Thankfully they are all down on a new egg each tonight so when I wean the young they should stay around. My point is, I am sure in time I could race these birds to my loft no trouble. I will not as I would like to race birds I have bred, more of a sense of achievement I suppose.
