Cool

Be Safe, Not Sorry

Hello Elvis,

It is quite possible that he gifted you some good racing stock. Sometimes us old guys, have been known to do crazy things.

You may find this hard to believe, but there are bad people out there, who would steal some Janssen Imports !

Now, if this gentleman has any stature in the racing community, the odds of a theft have just gone up by ten fold !

Until you are a victim of a crime, you will think being a victim is doubtful, and it only happens to "other" people.

Since I have been a victim of pigeon theft, and worse, I don't think that way anymore.

Import birds have a higher price. And if you heve janssens from the brothers. They are not cheap at all. And greman birds as well. Did he give you there papers. That tells some plus there band will show belg. or germany. They might be out of imports as well. People do steal. NOT as much as in the 60s But they do. I had almmost 200 birds stolen one night in the 60s. I did get a few of the homers back. But only about 10. I never found who did it. But through the years less pigeon thiefs are around. But yes they are out there. But more good pigeon people then bed ones. thank god.

Well i lied about him giving me a pair only he gave me 5 birds..do you think they might of gotten stolen? i highly doubt it though.

Pigeons:
im pretty sure the giant runt ( i phoned him he said it was a giant runt) isnt a very rare bird..it came from germany and its sopused to be a racing bird.

Ok i know this is an awfully dumb question but..if the birds like follow eachother clean eachother and eat/drink/poop together they are most likely a pair..right?

But then why havent they made a nest\egg yet? i havent seen them mate or anything i got them in August..im pretty sure the giant runt is a Male becasue of the way he acts. and the jansen a female becasue her cooing is much sharper and only does it on RARE ocasions lol ...the male puts his tail on the ground and coo's and everything. You know where the egg is sopused to come? those 2 bones? , yea well they got much wider ..most likely due to the mateing, even so..is it possible that they are some how both males or both females or do i have to wait?

thnx for all the support
