AU champion loft

Ever look at these results? I think this is how clubs should determine champion loft but it is not it is buy the total points rewarding the mob flyers. Well anyway one of my friends had a unbelievable score in this for the amount of races and birds he flew. He had 398.8 points/48th pos right now and this is 5 races of course but he only flew 10 races total. Also he put 16 birds total in all 5 races! This is also based on a average of about 10 lofts competing per race. Now the more lofts the more points there is, so I looked at the people that beat him and right away it was huge numbers in the loft competing category. I think they should category this award by loft competing. Like 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 lofts and also the amount of races competed in, could be a factor. If they did that he would have the best score in the 0-10 lofts in the AU right now. It was unbelievable the year he was having with so few birds.

My daughter (9yrs. old and only her 2nd year competing) is 29th on the list and averaged less than 3 birds per race on her 5 qualifying races. She scored 448.2 points. Her competition level was from 7 to 85 lofts competing. I wanted her to fly more birds each race but she picked her birds out and decided which went and which stayed. If you are wondering why the Name is Dylan Munson it is because she flew under her brothers name at the club because the race secretary was too lazy to add her name. Once again forget the JR. flyer they arent important. What a shame.!!! I am just glad she kicked their collective rear ends.

I will be the race sec. for the club next season and you can be sure it will be added. My son has decided girls, computers, etc. are more fun. Maybe he'll come back when he gets older and the novelty wears off!!!
