Enhanced flying.I saw on the news last sunday. In England a problem with steroid use in racing pigeons has been happening. Trying to get a better edge. I know some big dollars can be won. And winning birds in big races bring a big price. But things are going a little far now to get the win. And these wins can get a person banned from any future flying or more. So its not worth it. Thought I would post for the people that missed this on the news.

Thanks Terry and Robert. When are these guys ever going to learn? They think they're Dr. Mengele and can exploit our pigeons for their personal gains. Besides being banned from pigeon racing they should be locked up in prison.

We have American sports figures who were recently in the news for banned substances, so it was only a matter of time, before it reached the news that it has been used in pigeons. Sadly, these drugs have been used for many years now. It has only been recently, that the public at large has become aware of the problem. |
