Getting birds to load up

I have a coop at the edge of some woods and have 26-28 birds in this coop. I have been letting them out daily to fly around and they have been doing good with that then a week or so ago i have been having birds (8-10) that are wanting to roast in the trees at night above the loft what do i need to do to get these birds to load back up at night. Every single bird has been out and has loaded back dozens of times before but now they are wanting to stay all night in the trees....What can i do???

Feed them only before they roost, and when they trap to go inside to eat they are then in for the night.

Don't feed them outside...

How big is the coop... maybe they are over crowded?

Either they are overcrowded or they are getting scared something inside or outside the loft. Basically they are scared to enter "home." My guess is some critter that keeps them awake when they are inside the loft.

they also need to be hungry to come to your call to feed. so if you are feeding out side the loft thats where there gonna stay.

You have lost control of your birds. They are getting over fed and lazy. Cut back on the feed, and some road work if they are homers, and they should soon straighten out.
