Hovering

I think all my birds are part helicopter. I have kept them in for the last two evenings (Seen Hawk in trees) and when I go to feed them, almost everyone is hovering off the floor. It is funny seeing them do this and watching them avoid a collision with each other.

They do make sure they get their exercise

Our little guys in the aviary love to do their helicoptering, specially after a bath. Even my PMV pigeon Mini tries it, but she can't get it right with her head upside down.

I love when they do that, it's like they are happy and healthy and absolutely full of themselves.

LOL - Hope & Pidge love to do that too when they're in their cage... even funnier is seeing the cats run to watch the activity - just memorizes them

I remember the first bird I saw do that. I named her Dancer. That was way back in 2000.
