Moving babiesWe are building a new loft. and currently I have a pair sitting on eggs that should hatch anytime now. the loft should be done in maybe a week, or less. im not sure. the question is should I move the pair and their babies over when it is done or should I wait till they are older? because I have heard you shouldn't move a nest with young in it or the parents might not feed them.

That's right, stress can really upset a pair of birds. It's best to wait until the babies are 25-28 days old

yep becky is right. wait until they are a little older before you put them in the new nest. they won't mind being in the old loft another week or 2

They sometimes abandon babies just because of someone putting in a different nestbowl.
