Hello, here's an email i recieved today thought that I would share it.

A unique and once of a lifetime opportunity for many of us pigeon flyers will take place in SE Georgia at the Captain Joe’s Restaurant on November 11, 2009 at 7 PM.

Mr. Gerard Koopman of Emmerveen, Holland and Mr. John Froelich will be guests of the Coastal Empire Combine and provide the audience a chance to gain new knowledge in a question and answer format for 1 hour after the our meal. Do not miss your chance to learn about world class knowledge on feeding, training, loft management, breeding, race preparation, etc. Come join us, welcome these gentlemen, enjoy the fellowship, a meal and gain new insight in our wonderful sport.

Directions to Captain Joe’s of Midway are posted at www.cecrpa.org. The meal will be at your cost from the menu and a $5.00 donation will benefit the Coastal Empire Combine.

Mr. Koopman is a world renown flyer and breeder of sprint through one day long distance racing pigeons. Gerard Koopman is in partnership with Cornelis Koopman in Holland. The Koopmans have produced many famous pigeons and results. Most fanciers have heard of the great ‘Kleine Dirk’. ‘Kliene Dirk” was 5th world champion youngbirds and best acebird in 1998 and best acebird of The Netherlands in 1999. He took 1st National NPO Troyes against 17,883 birds. This is the caliber of birds Gerard breeds and flies. Mr. Froelich is the owner and the designer a new concept for the sport, namely PigeonNews.TV. This is an exciting, new internet TV presentation of the racing pigeon sport from the around the world. John is himself a flyer. His program at www.pigeonnews.tv provides interesting interviews and lofts visits in streaming videos. Also, he publishes email newsletter.
