NE ohio 'feral' - REWARD!

I know this is going to sound crazy, but here's the story - about two years ago, in lakewood ohio, i found a mangled homing pigeon.

i had to cut his band off due to the injuries on his legs. what little info gleaned from what was left of the band, was that he was an 06 bird, the numbers 1118 and an 'A' above the letter 'G'. i'm thinking it was the name of either the person or the loft that he came from ... 'arthur green' or 'avian general'...something like that.

anyway, i've had trooper and loved him as a house bird for all this time, and on march 16th, he took off.
not knowing where he was originally from, i don't know where he might have tried to home back to.

please, if you hear anybody talking about a blue grizzle feral that keeps trying to get in their loft with some really messed up feet and legs - contact me. i know there are a lot of 'old timers' out there, that don't even have an email address, so if you could, spread the word.

my heart is still aching almost two weeks after the fact. all i want is him back home. i don't race my pigeons, and he was the only one that wasn't clipped. i thought after two years, and bonding with me, and having a mate, that it was safe. i was dumb.

i've been printing up fliers and putting them in mailboxes... going to do some big poster size ones tomorrow, and pray it stops raining.

Oh Lizz, I was so hoping and praying you had found him!!! Otherwise praying he is somewhere safe until he gets home. I'm so sorry he's still gone. Hope that rain stops.
