New flyer

Hi all,
I am just going to get started building my first loft. I am thinking maybe 6'x12' or something to start. I am also looking for a club in my area to join. Been thinking about doing this for years so it is about time to start. I would love to here any advice or ideas before I start.
Thanks Jack

Foothills

Yep, Right in the middle of the foothills. Real close to lots of lakes also. I like it.
Thanks Jack

Good Luck on getting going with pigeons. Here is a link to a starter loft that I used and it worked out pretty good.

I'm new to the forum as well. I'm looking to build a loft and found this same link to Redrose, I was thinking about building three of them, old birds, young birds, and breeders. Is it better to have one big loft or a few smaller ones? I have flown a few season out of an old goat shed and want to build something set up for racing pigeons..

Can I see some pics of it? Sounds like a nice loft. I have a 16 x 16 to work with that was an old chicken coop.

Don't use 6x12 when building stuff it is easier to stick with 4 foot increments 8x12 for example. Then you would have to make alot less cuts.
