Why the face ?

Why the face ?

Today I had a Cooper try to eat one of my babies. My birds are just too fast for him ..or they were lucky today.

If you love birds, you have to understand and accept the circle of nature. Do I get when a babie is killed ? Yes, of course, but that is nature running it's course. There may be a couple of babies some where depending on Mom to feed them. Just hoping that it is not pigeon from my back yard.

Without birds like this, nature would be out of "balance". I admire these birds of prey, even when it cost me one of my babies !

I agree, we need falcons to keep it all in balance, but now that they have been protected for so long there are far to many of them.
