Hi all, anyonyone know of a group near Tampa Florida?

You can probably find a listing for clubs, or ask them if they are aware of one. In fact, you missed the 2004 AU national convention in Tampa, Florida.

Do a web search on 'tampa racing pigeon' I found several links that listed people in that area with racing pigeon results in some races. Is Spring Hill near Tampa? Several people were from there.
