How Old Does The Baby Need To Be When I Ship It To The 2010 Race? And Do I Need To Take It From The Parent And Making It Start Eating On It Own?

yes the babys should be eating on their own before you send them

I put small plastic double pots on the wall of the nest box, and when they are around about 25 days old, I put grain and water in the pots, so they can get used to feeding and drinking on their own.

It should be eating on its on at about 20-28 days old---Your y/b races start when????Sept.?
The bird needs to be 4-6 months old for a 100 mile race--"AFTER" proper training.
We hatch birds in Jan-Feb-Race in Sept. We ship our y/b's up to 300 miles
You also need to talk with local flyers.

The Race Is In Nov But I Need To Get The Baby Shipped By What Age? 30 To 35 Days Old?

30-35-40 days is the age to ship----be sure and check the dates they will start accepting birds.
