What is 1st drop and equal first.

Hi folks could someone explain
equal first- is that all the birds clocked in by a certain amount of time?

and first drop?

1st drop is all the birds that drop out of the sky on a race first wave. Equal first is a bird that was on the first drop but didn't cross the clocking board first. A Equal first bird may have been the first bird home but hung around waiting on another bird to trap. Hope this helps.
