Funny Falcon Story

Just about an hour ago a falcon charged my pigeon loft outside of my house......He desperately tried to get in but there were no openings . I tried lureing him into my garage and release him somewhere else and guess what? He fell for it ahahahahahaha, but unluckly i was at the door and he flew away (not too far though). Still out there right now. He's not parting till he gets one......looks so sad that makes me feel like giving him one....but all the pigeons are soo scared and i feel sorry for them myself. I'm just letting the falcon go crazy til he leaves on his own since noises and myself can't chase him away. Wish i had a video cam and a digital camera to take pictures of this funny moment. The falcon looks soo tame that it made my neighbors came and watch it for a few mins. Neighbor even thought that i raised this predator (hell no i raise pigeons ) . Going out to check on him or her. Just felt like sharing it since it's so funny and cool that the falcon won't leave.

A nice cold shower

would do the trick " The big Mean Hose"

He must be very hungry to not let up and stay around after seeing you.

It sounds like something went to bed hungry tonight. Don't you wish you could just make him a ham sandwhich.

Ken, try giving him some cooked chicken, or hamburger. Sounds like he is very hungry.

Yeah, I hate to say it but I'd give him some raw chicken, too. If this bird won't leave then there may actually be something wrong with it and it's in "fixation" mode. It could be a young one that just hasn't figured out how to survive yet and may very well not without some remedial training. You can try to find a falconer in your area because they often have the licenses to trap these animals, either for relocation or for their sport.

He left . How? He just went after some black birds that usually comes by. Guessing he figured he won't be getting one of my pigeons . Hopefully he doesn't come back for a while.

And he's not young he should be around 6 yrs of age. He's been here before when i first got my first 4 pigeons. He always stays around not afraid of us until he gets one of our pigeons. This is the only one that does that too, otherwise the others just takes off the moment they see us. he's actually killed some of my pigeons before while letting them out to fly...now that i've made my new loft i'm not letting them fly around outside.
