Hi!

Hello, I'm new. Sort of... I was registered before as ILoveMyRomey, but I can't get into that account anymore for some reason. So now I'm JuliePigeon instead. I have two pigeons, one regular feral beautiful blue checker cock Romeo who is in my avatar, and his mate, Juliet who is a homing breed of some sort (I know I asked about her before, so if you guys remember, you remember what she looks like I think), and they are both the sweetest little things! I love taking Romeo places and he's been all different places with me, getting different reactions from everyone. One lady thought he was precious, one lady thought he was an AG, one lady was disgusted (ONLY when she learned he was a pigeon. Silly, she thought he was beautiful until she found out what kind of bird he was), and two teenaged boys who thought he was cute. So you get all sorts of reactions, don't you? Lol, it's fun. So I'm just another pigeon lover, just like you guys, but I'm still needing a lot of learning about these beautiful birds!

Hello!

Your pigeons sound adorable! I have some outdoor non-tame pigeons and I have a handreared pigeon called Catch. I often walk to the letter box or along the seafront with Catch and I get a lot of weird looks! Lol! I also had someone think Catch was the cutest thing ever and then I told them he was a pigeon and they stopped stroking him and wiped their hands down their trousers to get the 'dirt' off!

I'll look forward to hearing some stories about your birds!

Oh...

Lol, sorry. I belong to another forum where we use all sorts of different acronyms for bird types. AG stands for African Grey. =)
Sorry that it says unregistered... it doesn't keep me logged in and I'm having problems with that so just trust it's me :-D.
