My blind PeaweeI had to share this with everyone.
My pigeon who was brought to me a while ago that I didn't think would make and has made a remarkable recovery, and yes he's definitly blind, has decide that even though he's blind wants to fly. Yesterday he was on my hand and started flapping his wings and the next thing he was in mid air flying. He's not sure were things are being he can't see, but he managed to get over by the couch just missing the arm to land on and down he went grabing the side of the couch with his feet and climbing up the side to get on top of the arm. I was so neverous when he took off from my hand because I don't want him to get, but he amazed me, to see he is trying to fly without having sight. I've noticed birds and animals who have disabilities don't let it stop them from doing things, especially flying. He will never be releasable and live his life out with me, but I don't mind because he is very sweet and loves me, and I love him to and give him kisses all the time, loves it. He's also really healthy. I just had to share this with you all that I have blind pigeon that can fly, and I never though it would happen. I'm really excited and happy to know my guy won't let anything stop him from doing things that birds do best. Mary Ann |
