Season #2 Episode 5

Well of course Tiddles applauded. Dorian has a great singing voice. But he is still a cat. There are only so much you can do with Kitty vocal chords. Besides Tiddles liked Bagpipe music, just like every cat. It's the only instrument that

cats can sing along with.
The Limo pulled up to Dorian's alley, and the terrible two got out. It suddenly occured to Tiddles that he never saw the driver of the Limo. For some reason that bothered him. So he asked.

'Master, who is driving that thing?'
'Ze souls of ze pijies which I have taken.'
Tiddles gulped loudly.

'Tiddles, Tiddles, Tiddles. You must learn not to take yourself too seriously. It is ze clone of my original human servant. Think about it. I may be the embodyment of kitty evil. I may be immortal, and bent on the eradication of pijies

everwhere. I may have ze IQ bigger zen ze Eintsein. But even I cannot open ze can of kittychow, or empty ze litter tray. Look!' Dorian waved a paw under Tiddles nose. 'No Opposable thumbs.'

Tiddles let out his breath. He didn't even know he was holding it.

'Besides,' said Dorian with a particularly evil glint in his eye 'Everyone knows you only get 3Mpg out of pijies in city driving'........

They went back inside. Tiddles waited paitently (and coincidentally right next to the bowl of cream) while Dorian pottered about filling a large suitcase with odds and ends. A spare cape and cowl. A couple of spare tridents, some 'field

rations' (foil packed kitty chow.) And other items that Tiddles couldn't identify, but obviously Dorian thought he would need them. All the while he kept up a constant patter of conversation with Tiddles.
'Tiddles. Ve are going on a road trip. If I am correct Tooter vill send ze best und the brightest of ze SPPs to free zee doves before ze hunt takes place. It vill appeal to his sence of justice, to make ze organizers look like ze total

'muppet' ven zey have no doves for ze hunters to shoot. Ve vill get there before him, und be vaiting........

Dorian picked up a small fluffy stuffed pig.
'Can you look after the lair while I'm gone Mr Pudgy Pigy?'.
'Yes Mr. Dorian, I vill'. Squeeked Dorian out of the side of his mouth.
'Good, mein Schatzchen, Du bist mein besten freiunde, der velt.' (Sorry for mangling the spelling Larry. - Translation 'Good my little darling, you are my best friend in the world'.)

Talking to stuffed animals clinched it in Tiddles little kitty brain. Dorian was not only totally crazy, but he had ordered a huge plate of 'whacko' on the side.

Tiddles decided that curiosity would not just kill the cat in this case, but it would whack his family, his friends, the kid down the street who mowed his lawn, the milkman, the postman, then set fire to the neighbourhood, and laugh

while toasting marshmallows on the still glowing embers. He kept his mout firmly closed, and made up his mind to make a run for it as soon as he could.

The Limo was slightly more cramped then before with the addition of all of the equipment that Dorian thought he needed.......And off they went. Road music playing in the background.


Meanwhile back at Pete's place, Moe was pacing back and forth, with Dudley looking on curiously. Normally the sight of little Moe sashaying back and forth pushed all of Dudley's buttons. He loved her more then he loved Safflower

seeds....Well, almost. But right now, his male radar was suggesting that doing the "pijie mambo", complete with fanned out tail and a full chorous of 'Boo-Boo-ing' wouldn't go down well.

Not that it ever did, but a Pijie had to live in hope.

'What am I going to do. I can't get in touch with Tooter. I don't know how to use Pete's computer!' She continued to pace, getting more and more frustrated. Until she spotted Dudly's seed bowl, a short seed pecking session, and a quick

preen later she was feeling more herself.
'If only I had a bell....'
'Well Moe, this might just be your lucky day.' Smarmed Dudley, expertly flicking one of his toys in Moe's direction. It tinkled softly as it came to a halt right at Moe's feet.'
'Dudley! I could Kiss you!'
'Promise?' Cooed Dudley.
'Don't get fresh, you know what I mean'.

Now if she could only figure out how to use this to get in touch with Squeeks. Luckly she had the worlds formost expert on bell ringing standing right in fornt of her.
'Dudley...You dont't think, you could..........' She trailed off.
'Ok'. sighed Dudley, who do you want to call.'
'Mr. Squeeks.'
'Oh, Mr. "I'm-such-a-manly-pijie-just-because-I'm-an-SPP-who-wears-a-cape-and-terrorizes-cats".'
'Dudley, don't be like that. I need to summon him, Doves could die!'
'Oh, alright'.
Dudley picked up the ball, and rang for all he was worth. They waited...
After a while they heard an answering ring coming from everywhere and nowhere. Because Pijie bell ringing communications uses the same 'Seed pipes' that they travel through, it's hard to get a direction on the sound.
'What does that mean'. Asked Moe.
'SShhhhhhh!. I'm trying to read it............Okay. It says.....Hi, this is Squeeks. I can't answer the bell right now, because I'm either....' Dudley took a breath and concentrated harder. 'Sitting on my egg, or teasing Twiggy....or

beaking Shi's toes....or saving Pijie kind. Either way, I'm busy. Gimme a ring later OK? - Thanks'.

Moe swore....again.

'Dudley?'
'Ok, who else?'
'Dinkster'.

'Ok, I'll try....' He again ring his bell.
After a while the sound of an answering tinkle came through the air.
'Well what's that'.
'Service message.- It says that "The pijie you are trying to contact either does not have a bell or does not want to talk to you, pick another pijie, or use email instead.....Have a nice day!"

'Dudley? - you couldn't.....'
'Ok, who now.'
'Gertrude'.
'Gertrude?'
'Yes, Gertrude.'
'No'.
'No?'.
'Yes..no for two reasons. Gertrude is nuts. secondly, intercontenental bellringing takes major mojo. I'm good, but not that good. I'd need at least a couple of more pijies to make it work....so..no.'

'But I'm out of ideas!!!!!'
'Well, if you are talking about the famous SPPs, there is one that you haven't met yet. Well, if the legends are correct anyway.'
'Who is that?'
'The nightflier, the one from the many. -Uni'.
'Really? is she real?'. asked Moe. Every young peeper learned the stories of Tooter, Uni, and the rest almost from the moment they came out of the egg. Uni was one of Moe's favourite stories. He was the reason that she got into pijie journalism, she wanted to make sure such stories were heard. The thoughts of meeting yet another living pijie legend in one night made her head spin like she truely had PMV....

Oh Moe, She is a legend in my time! "The One Of Many". It is a good thing that Dudley has her bell ball number. Or, you could reach her by raidio. She can see perfectly at night, and she can see things that cannot be seen.

Very Interesting Alvin! I love the way you introduced "Unie". If anyone could see EVIL....it would be Unie. I guess Dorian didn't count on her.

Ah, yes! Unie is an EXCELLENT choice! She will be more than glad to help! I'm sure Pidgey wouldn't mind and he would be so proud!

Of course, just make sure that Dr. Pigeonstein isn't around! He's the one that can cause trouble and is the human equivalent of DvN!

Earlier as I was reading Alvin's Episode #5, I was listening to my sister-in-law in the bedroom talking to the Mexican program that she was watching on T.V.. I caught myself just before I yelled out "you crazy Mexicanas talk to the T.V." as I heard my own voice out loud talking to Alvin.

I am going to make an effort to be a little more quiet when I get excited, least these people think I'm nuts.

Unie can see things that the inhabitants of this realm cannot. If there are any true demons amoung us she will know.

Shi, I think poor Tiddles is trying to get away from Dorian. If he can escape him will remain to be seen. Poor kitty, he has been through hell. Did I say hell?

If Tater can not be reached, it is because he is on his honeymoon. So...forward all messages to Mary Lou.

Another Interesting episode Alvin.

I get all sorts of looks when I read Alvin's amazing stories because I do the same thing, Feather I laugh my butt of while talking to myself and the puter, I think I might need to make an appointment for myself and DvN to have out heads checked out.

Pete, maybe, Feather...DvN - not until he has been "changed" (if possible) from the "dark" side. His BEST BET is his GOOD TWIN, Freddie...

Squeaks always gives me "looks" and pijie sounds when he hears me laughing at the episodes! Getting better at pijie speak, I think he's saying, "NOW, what's happening? We SPPs can take care of DvN so he can get help from Freddie!"

I think Tiddles is learning the error of his ways. BUT, there is STILL Twiggy, who could be quite persuasive w/Tiddles to keep him in the "dark" for awhile longer! Being a SH Black furred (great camouflage!), sinuously lean beauty with big round eyes, Tiddles and DvN would be sitting - ah - cats to her feline fatale charms.

Thanks Shi and Feather! That is my beautiful sweet Penny. She came to us two years ago at the age of seven from an abusive former home. We call her "Our Queen" now, because that's exactly how we treat her and that's exactly how she acts now! LOL After what she'd been through for so long, we wanted to make sure that she'd feel like she'd died and went to heaven, so "her wish is our command."

Actually, I am REALLY glad to hear Penny is a female! She is GOOD, I am sure! She could counterbalance Twiggy, who, goes BOTH ways due to her PUSS agent days. She has also been known to be a "double" agent, so one never knows if she's gonna be "evil" or "good."

Penny, I'm sure will be a GOOD influence! AND, we now have 2 males and 2 females! That's what I call a great even number! Penny could be just great for DvN as he has already been eyeing her. She certainly is beautiful!

Twiggy, with one slide of her tail under Tiddles' chin, would have him following her everywhere! Twiggy just loves to practice her -ah - seductive skills. Besides, she does think Tiddles is cute.
