Super Powered Pijies #8

Silently Gertrude centered himself, getting in touch with his Pijie center.....Well if you asked him, that's what he'd say. Actually he was wondering why the kitty was taking so long to get into range, and trying not to daydream.
Tiddles made his, well, I've lost count, mistake of the evening.

Gertrude delivered a fast Left!-left!-left!-coo-coo-roo-coo!-left! sonic wingslap to Tiddles.
It is very hard to concentrate on anything, when you are blinded by repeated rapid wingslaps. Mini sonic booms cracked passed his ears as Gertrude decided to sort Mr. Kitty out for good. He would have preferred to just get out of there, but he didn't have time to be subtle.
Tiddles couldn't see as his eyes were reflexivly snapped shut, as a result he couldn't do anything but back up, paw by paw, under this unrelenting barrage of Flying Feathers of Fury. - A lesson in the effectiveness of Wing-Fu was being taught, and learned. And Tiddles was being schooled by a Master.

Then he bumped up against the wall.

For a split second the world went quiet.....

Doodles arrived, Bright Eyes arrived, Squeeks, and Hali.
Each grabbed a paw, and split.

Tiddles found out that claws are not very effective when they are heading at speed in opposite directions.....That left teeth.

Unfortunatly, Gertrude was still free.
Gertrude is know by many names, most of which are well deserved, In Ireland he is known amongst the Pijie population as 'Droch Shron' or 'Bad Nose'.
In Germany he is known as 'Isen Schnable' or 'Iorn Beak', in England he is nown as 'Demon Bird' in France he was known as 'Le Mal Museau'. The bad snout.

Get the idea?
Tiddles snapped at the only target that he could possibly reach. Gertrude...

Gertrude delivered a beaking that will reverberate through the ages as the most accurate, most timely beaking in history. He caught Tiddles on the nose, locked down, and twisted......... Tiddles made a very bad mistake (Again). He opened his eyes.

And ended up staring directly into Gertrudes.

It was over in a heartbeat. Tiddles slumped into another furry pile, this time smiling and snoring like a slow chainsaw.

Gertrude was proven wrong. The Pijie Paralysis Pinch also works on insane kitties.

Doodles was incandesent with rage.

'YOU TOLD ME I COULDN'T DO THAT!!!! YOU TOLD ME IT WOULDN'T WORK!!! YOU LIED!!!!'
'No Doodles, I kept you from making a mess of a bad situation'. Sighed Gertrude, taking some time to calm down a furious Doodles.
'But if we had done that earlier, this would have been OVER!' Hissed Doodles.
'If we resort to violence as a first option, then we are not Pijies. Hawks use violence, Pijies DON'T!! screamed Gertrude. He grabbed Doodles by the tail, and dragged him into the back yard.
'Now look!' Ordered Gertrude. 'Look. Nobody hurt, but at the same time, they are annoyed by the application of creative nastiness. SUCH IS THE DARK SIDE OF PIJIDOM!. Yes We can do voilence..' Gertrude reasoned. 'But we don't chose voilence. It is one of the things you have yet to learn.'

'Amen' they heard over the radio. Tooter was still at the other end of the line.
The rest of the Pijies met Gertrude and Doodles in the back yard.
'Tooter! we're going to need a fast Dust Off!' Screamed Dinkster.
'On the wayyyyyy'. Was the reply.

Meanwhile back in Omaha, Tooter was wrestling with one of Dinkster's inventions. A lifesize inflatable Tooter look alike. He hooked up the foot pump, and jumped up and down on the pedals. Slowly Tooter was replaced by....Tooter.

This is funny. I hope that Victor doesn't open the cage, and command him "ARM TOOTER".

I think that Hawk Master and Cool Pigeon will not be fooled. I hope they are off playing somewhere.

Has the kitty learned his lesson? Tiny little Hali was probably in her glory that she got to mess with the cat. Pete, says she's a little rascal.
I can't wait to find out what a dusting off is...and if this blow up bird will hold over long enough for Tooter to help his men.

Oh no! Wait until Victor finds out. A fake Tooter. How inventive can these pigeons be?

I think you're giving away too may classified pidgie secrets! I'm finding myself looking in on my fids a little more closely now, I don't want to be tricked by an inflate-a-pigeon

GREAT episode, as usual, Alvin!

Ole Tiddles won't be messin' around any pigeons in the near future!

Would like to see the faces of the "owners" when they discover the "changes!" LOL

Yes, sometimes a few SPP have to resort to a little deception with their owners. HOW do we keep Victor from reading this thread before the pij has flown the coop (so to speak)???

BTW, Alvin, you may want to think up some questions to interview the SPP...I mentioned in another thread that they are modest and shun publicity, but perhaps you might be able to coax some to do an interview. I'm sure inquiring minds might want to know more about these defenders of truth, justice and the pijie way.

OR, maybe members might list some questions they would like answered.

Of course, the SPP must finish their current assignment first...(just a suggestion, Alvin, if you decide to accept such a option)

Well...I fed off the energy of Kari Jo's post on Terry W. "Urgent" Thread. Went on this big cleaning frenzy. Now I think that I would like to trade my pijies in on the blow up kind. No Poop, they don't poop. I'll save enough on food and the new loft I need to buy a camera like Pete's.

I can put my fake birds on the fake eggs. Don't ever have to worry about hawks. What do I care if a hawk takes off with a blow up pidgie.

Truth is....that would last a half a day...I would miss the cooing, and the expression in their eyes. No I don't see an end to this cleaning, and tomorrow it will be back the way it was.

Good Night All,
Sleep With The Angels,
Feather
