Waffles JournalThis story is on the life of my friend's pigeon. This story is written from the point of view of the bird itself. The inseperation for this comes from reading the popular book "Black Beauty" which was written from the horse's prospective. Keep in mind you're reading a story from an animal's prospective.
Chapter 1 My view on life Day 1 January 6th 2006. I'm Waffles. I'm a Homing pigeon embryo. At the moment I'm blind, deaf and cannot tell what my gender is. So far my life seems easy, but from what I can tell there's going to be a rough road ahead, whatever a road is. My current view on life is dark, I guess so since I'm temporarly blind. I can't hear anything ether since I'm deaf for the time being. There are hundreds of thing I'm not aware of, it would take too long for me to explain. Over the next 3 weeks, I'll go through several changes, but it doesn't stop from there. From what I can tell I've got a long way to go. *sighs* Well... now I'm tired so I think... I'll... go to bed...(falls asleep) what do you think? I'll be updating this all week.

I work hard on writing stories. But thank you for the review. It's kind of different from the animal's prospective isn't it? It kind make you wonder if they actually wonder about life like that

Here's page 2January 7th 2006
Day 2 Well today nothing's really changed, except my growth. My pulse rate is increasing by the minute, my blindness hasn't gone away nether has my deafness. It feels lonely here, I don't know about this,It's kind of bothering me a little. Somehow I feel as if someone's watching me, hopefully I'm not the only one wherever I am. Being alone isn't enjoyable, but on the other hand it's kind of nice. And then there's wondering, who or what am I? where am I? and... what the heck is going on here?! *sigh* Well I guess there's no point in getting angry. Since I don't really have anything or anyone to be mad at. *sniffles* I need something or somebody, it's just too quiet here. *sigh* Well over the next 3 weeks I hope there'll be a plus side to this. Well that's today's update, page 3 will be posted tomorrow. Thanks for reading!

Here's page 3January 8th 2006
Day 3 *yawns* Well nothing's happend. Once again my life is nothing but a blank. I hope maybe there's more to life then what I think there is. I feel as if nothing might not change, but then again it has changed. My pulse rate is now normal and my heart rate is average. I wish I wasn't deaf then I could probably hear something for once. (ok this is next segment show what Tory probably wasn't aware of) *sighs* "I' sure like to know what's up with those pigeons it's getting really agravating well to me it is, ain't I right Dodie?" thought Dusty the labrador and chow mix. *barks* translated: "Dodie?" *barks again* translated : "Dodie?" *growls... barks once more* translated: "Dodie!" Dodie is another pigeon. *Dodie wakes up* *answers Dusty with standard pigeon call* translated: "Oh yeah! yeah sorry Dusty I guess I dosed off" Dusty barked back translated : "You know you sleep walk in the daytime" "Uh-huh" thought Dodie. (ok now we're back to Tory) Well another day, another set of hours in lonelyness. It's no walk in the park that's for sure but then again... nah well that's today's update, check back here this week t read page 4 sorry for the long delay. Oh by the way I'm fine now I just felt sick just of that one day which was this past friday, so I'm alright. See ya!

Thanks for the reply. Dodie is a real pigeon! she's a black and white homing pigeon and she is sor free sprited but stubborn at the same time
*snicker* I guess you could say pigeons and animals in general have personalites similar to ours.
