wowzers what the hey?!

so as im walking out out of my philosophy class located on the fourth floor with no access to the outside without going down an enclosed flight of stairs or an elevator. anyway.
so as im walkin out the door i see something shoot past my head. completely freaked me out. i turn around only to see a bat flying straight for my head. i put my hands up in an attempt to catch him and about six inches away from me he darts to the side. i tried this several times with no luck. i was actually about to open up my laptop and ask for advice on how to catch him when my prof. comes out of the class room. i showed him the bat and he was like "we have to catch it or they'll kill it" they meaning the college janitors. they would find a tennis racket, broom, anything else to knock it out or kill it. so he gets to idea of using a trash bag. next best thing to a net when you have limited resources. so we each grabbed a bag and he went after the height which the bat was flying and i went after the counter action when it darted out off to the side. after a few attempts he got it. i attempted to take a picture of it but its just more of a dark blob because the trash bag wasnt clear. you can kind of make out the shape though. i did get a good look at it when we took it outside to release it. it was very cute. ill google to see if i can find one that looks similar and to figure out what kind it was.
im happy though. i might not have nursed it back to health or mended wounds but i still saved it from a beating that could have come or just from it hurting itself. i just wish i could figure out how it managed to get there. ill have to do some investigating.
