Baby Pigeon after that scary construction

I had posted a message on Pigeon Talk regarding the pigeon family on my balcony about a month ago.
I wanted to follow up on what is going on with the pigeon family we helped out and get some idea of what to do next.
We were able to take care of the pigeon and it grew feathers. The parents still come everyday, and it seems that they got used to us giving them seeds. Our pigeon learned to fly and it sometimes goes out. We have it on our windowsill since they finally knocked down the protective wall. So the bird comes inside sometimes and it loves my couch. I had to put newspaper on the floor and an old towel on the couch, to avoid stains.
Now we are a little concerned about what to do with the bird. We are wondering if it is time to close the window so it won't come back, or stop feeding them. We want it to continue it's natural course, but we don't know the best way to go about it.
Maybe you know what the best option is?

If it is flying now. You could just reduce the feed amount a liitle at a time. And just put it on the window sill. Keeping the window shut. It will learn to go out and forage for more food. And be able to survive better. And it will perhaps come and go for awhile. Until it finds a new home to roost at.
