could they be wood pigeons


the two birds that i have found do not look like the baby pigeons on the weblink the ones i have seem to have a differnt coloured beak its more of a bluey grey i have tried posting a pic but says the pics are to big

If they are wood pigeons you will be able to see the white stripe across their wings if you gently extend the wing. They will also probably have blueish eyes.

Hi Again,

That was going to me my next question, they probably are wood pigeons.
We have an expert here named Cynthia who lives in England and has rehabbed many wood pigeons.

If you go to the top of the page and click on "search" and type in wood pigeon, you will get several threads with information on feeding and handling wood pigeons.
