i found a pigeon egg but i dont really have any experience so i dont know what to do. i know its fertalized and i think its grown since the last time i checked but im worried that it is dead. please help me i need to know what is the best thing to feed it, if putting a lamp over it whn it is hatched will be enough because thats all i have and just the basics on how to care for it.
i found it last tuesday in a park and at the moment its in a box with a warm lamp over the top of it to keep it warm. help me pleeeease!

Are you sure it is a pigeon egg? Where was it, on the ground, in a nest etc?
If you did notice it is growing then it is not dead. What exactly are you seeing, do you see any veins?
I'll try and locate the link about egg development so you can compare of what you are seeing.

forst thing i would do is to hold the egg in my hand and see if its colder than your hand. if its too cold there is 50% chance it would nout hatch, then i would try candling.

rearing baby pigeons is no joke

when i hold over atorch in the dark i can see lots of red veins, a white hollow looking circle at one end and a big dark spot in the middle.
this morning i noticed that there seems to be slight dis-colouration at either end of the egg what oes this mean if any thing?
