Flightless in Seattle. . .Hello,
We woke up this morning to discover an injured pigeon on our porch. It appears to have a broken wing. Between our two pet cats, puppy and toddler I don't like the chances of it making a successful recovery at our house. Is there anyone out there willing to try their hand at nursing this bird back to health? Additionally, any advice on Seatttle based organizations or individuals who help with injured birds would be appreciated. The poor little guy is hunkered down on the floor of our porch. I'm not able to see if he has a band on his leg. My guess is that he doesn't. Thank you very much, Amy |

Please put the bird in a cat kennel or box and bring him in the house.
Other members will be on shortly to offer advice.

If I remember well, we might have a member or two in your area or at least close enough.
Hang in there. Please keep the bird safe until we can find you some help. Reti |

Monica (izzy's mom) lives in Seattle and I'm sure would like to help. You can go to member's listings and get her profile brought up where you can either e-mail or private message her.
