FOund an injured pigeon

I found a banded pigeon with an injured wing, but i can't seem to ID the band. the bird has clearly been handled by humans and wheres a red plastic band with BR7. Any ideas on how to ID the owner?

shryon01, the band may not be traceable - can you tell us where you are located, in case we have a rescuer nearby? And is the injured wind bleeding at all?

Thanks for your response. I found him in my yard in Riverton, CT. He/she is not bleeding, but has a droopy wing. A spoke with a women in Falls Village, CT who is willing to take the bird. I was just hoping to alert the owner and curious about where the bird came from.
