Found Feral Needs New Home (MA) UPDATE 9.12.08Hi people, The feral baby my boyfriend brought home from work is still not eating on it's own. And when I do feed it is a battle. I think it will end up hating people more. I really don't have time to care for this bird. I actually rehomed a lot of my pets due to my busy schedule plus events yet to come with my God daughter. If things in my life were different I would be able to give this feral the care it needs but I just can't right now. If anyone in Mass or if you know anyone in Mass who can take this little guy in that would be great!!
Thanx Cyn... I'm logged on to my AIM > Cyn2679

Is the baby releasable when it is grown?? You have a few members near you....msfreebird in Northwood N H & Max1170 in Malden Ma & Mistyfog in Central Ma & Jay3 somewhere near Boston, and of course the overworked and always available xxmoxiexx in Chelsea Ma. If the bird will be able to be released you might ask them in a Private Message. Maybe one of them will open their heart to the poor little orphan.

I'm sure it will be releasable but the pigeon still need to learn to fly and eat on its own. I'm still having to force feed it with a syringe, I didn't feed it for most of the day yesterday to see if it would eat on its owe but it did not touch one seed or even the water.

HI sorry for the late response! I've been very busy... The baby feral started eating on it own finally, and when I got home from work I would find him/her on top on my dish cabinets. I ending up putting the feral out door in a large Rabbit cage I had so he/she could get a feel for my yard. After two days I started leaving the cage open. He flew around the yard the first two days, on the third the neighborhood ferals started hanging around the cage too eating up his food. Like five days into it the feral slept someone else and returned in the moring for food. He has made his home with other pigeons five houses down from mine... All Ends Well...
