found pidgeon please help!!i ve found a pidgeon think he has left the nest but cant fly much he is quite alert i dont know how old he is but he is fluffy but not too young as in chick i know nothing about pidgeons i think actualy he might be some sort of dove.I need to know whether he will eat seed or what to give him please help!!

Hello and thank you for helping this bird.
Can you tell us where you are? There might be a rescue centre or rehabilitator close by who can help. It will also help us know what kind of pigeon or dove it is and whether it eats seed. If you are in the UK, they all eat seed, so if you offer it wild bird seed and water, it might be able to eat and drink on its own. The length of its tail is always a good way of telling whether it is old enough to leave the nest...so can you give us a rough indication? Also, it is will be very helpful if you can describe its poops. Cynthia
