Happy Ending for Rose the Pigeon

Hi! I just wanted to thank everyone for your help with the young pigeon I found and to let you know that she was released. The advice, links and information given helped me to give her good care and keep her comfortable while she was with us. She was found at the end of Aug. in a dangerous area (her feathers were not in and she couldn't fly).
We brought her back to the town where she was originally found (last weekend) but brought her to a safer area. We drove around until we could find a place that looked safe and where there were other pigeons. We found a yard with bird feeders and a small flock of pigeons feeding. I brought her carrier out of the car and opened the door, she quickly flew a few yards and landed next to one of the pigeons and he acted like she had always been with them. She turned to look at me and I don't know if she was saying goodbye and thank you or haha you can't catch me again! but either way it was a wonderful moment. I hope she has a happy life!!
