Pigeons have been laying eggs, hatching them, and rearing the young for millions of years, you may not have to do anything except feed and water your birds.......

And for God's sake don't let them run out of food or water either!
Not having food or water for long enough can cause the birds stress and abandon the nest. Other than that, they're good to go ![]() |

Hi Brandirose and welcome to Pigeon-Talk!
If you only have one pigeon, then the eggs cannot possibly be fertile, and you don't have to worry about anything. Just let your female pigeon sit on the eggs until she decides to do otherwise. If you do have a male/female pair of pigeons, then just provide them with fresh food and water and they will do the rest. Terry |

Hi Brandirose,
If your Bird is a younger Hen and ineperienced, she may lay Eggs one here, one there, in the middle of the floor or something... That happens, and typically they are still just too young to do anything more than that with them. The first round or two is just their Body practicing for later. If she build a Nest and layed them in it, then she knows what she is doing. Is there a Mate? Or just her? Phil l v |
