I found a King Pigeon and need to find it a home!

A couple weeks ago I found a beautiful King Pigeon right outside my building. It doesn't fly and is very very sweet. My neighbor is watching it right now, but can't do it any longer because of her job. She needs the bird out of her house right away and keeps telling me she will put the bird out if I can't find a place. I can only watch it temporarily. Does anyone know of a place in the New York City area that will take this bird?? I'm desperate! Any info is appreciated!

Julie...I just sent an email to a member that may be able to find a temporary home for the King.
I'm going to email you my phone number. There are other options.

Julie - Where exactly are you located? If you'd rather PM me the information that's fine... I live in central NJ and can look into a few options. Just that NY is a big area
