I found a pigeon like bird but not sure

HI.

I m from India, Mumbai City of Bollywood. We hardly get to see white pigeons in our city but since a few weeks i have a white pigeon (I m not sure if he really is) visiting my living room window...I dont see any other white birds of its kind. All we see here are grey pigeons. I have a 2 pairs of pet cocateils at my place. This white pigeon comes on the same window where these cocatiels are.
I cant identify if its a pigeon or a dove or some other kinds. Its single and has white eyes with black eyeballs...never bites...i feed him from my palm...its lies at my window almost entire day.Is it a female or male??? What extra care should i take ??? How shud i pet him.?
I m attaching a video and photo...pls help me out with this...i really admire this bird...

Hi Manini,

If it is a pigeon, it may be a tame bird which has been kept as a pet by someone. Does it have a numbered band on one of its legs?

Here is a 'typical' white pigeon. I'm a little puzzled by the "white eyes with black eyeballs", as they generally appear to have very dark eyes, but pigeons can sometimes have some unusual aspects.

If it was fairly small, could be a white form of Indian ringneck dove, also kept as pets.

John

If it has white eyeballs it probably is a Domestic Flight.
