Pigeon Needs Help in Kansas City Area

Found a pigeon near 10th and Grand in Kansas City, I saw this pigeon at 4 pm yesterday and again this morning hiding in a corner.

I have the satellite image attached and marked the exact location where I saw it. This pigeon appears to have an injured wing and needs help from all the bird lovers out there.

Probably needs help faster than we can find someone else. Can't you get him and put him in a box or something?

Please do go and pick up the Pigeon. We are an international INTERNET forum and I don't know if we have any members in the Kansas City area, at least done I can think of that are active.
If you can secure the bird, then we can help you find someone to take the bird to.
I would be there in a flash if I weren't in Oregon. Many of our member when if they weren't so far away.
This bird was put in your path and desperately needs your help now.

I took the bird to Wildlife Rescue in Shawnee, KS; they said he appeared to be in good shape. I am not a bird lover but we crossed path three days in a row I wanted to give him a chance.

Glad all seems to be going well for our rescue. Thanks for helping. I was wondering what had happened, since there were a few days there with no updates.

I was searching in Google Earth; finally realized that Kansas City is in two states, while trying to locate nearby PT members.

Just a heads up everyone .. this very fortunate pigeon was taken to a wildlife center by Omnislash and apparently the bird has a good prognosis. See post #6.
