pigeon with a missing foot

I just found a wild pigeon in my yard and he has a missing foot and i don't know how to help him. All I've done so far is put him in a box with a blanket inside and draped over i also put food and water. He hasn't eaten and I know hes in pain but i don't know what to give him for the pain or what to do with his leg, his foot is gone and whats left of his leg is bleeding. Should i pat it with saline solution and wrap his leg? what should i do?
