Please help me out

I have two white pigeons.
I have kept them in the cage and i keep the cage outdoor, even at night.
so should i have to keep them in special cage or how to protect them from night cold the place is free from any nocturnal enemies.

And also tell me how to breed them and tame them so tht they should not leave my house and go?

You can check out the international dove assocaition, dovepage.com and join one of the forums.
The people on those forums are very helpful.
Don't get me wrong the people are great here too but I think the majority here keep pigeons.

Aren't pigeons and rockdoves the same thing?

Hello and Welcome to pigeon Talk,

Yes, you do need to protect them from all the elements including predators. They should have a small coop that protects them from wind rain and drafts of air, yet provides them enough air circulation. They should have an aviary where they can have enough room to fly and sun and bathe.

Pigeons are very susceptible to all kinds of predators you wouldn't suspect, make sure there are NO holes larger then 1/4 inch, that seperates them fom the elements, as believe I've heard it all. Keep them inside until you have something more predator/elements safe.

By the way, where did you get these birds?

Don't worry about it, a lot of us make that mistake at first! I didn't know a pigeon was called a "rock dove" for quite awhile when I first had pigeons.
