releasing bird update

Hi all, thanks for letting me no the young squeak.......I never had a yound one .....only ones that cooed......so to speak.........He/she squeaks when I approach......wants to get away from me.....which may be a good thing if I want to be able to release it ( eventually ) ...I saw it drink water yesterday.........I feed it less......soaked high protein cat kibble..... and at night some peas/ corn ......it is hard now to feed it as it gets annoyed faster with me now.....( which could be a good thing) but since I don't see it eating ....I can't be sure it is really......I try to peck at the seeds with my finger to show it............How much seeds should it be eating a day? I have finch seeds, wildbird mix, barley seeds, and cockatiel.......I do see it picking up small seeds but not much,......should it be eating at the seeds throughout the day? I can't post a picture, as I don't know how.......I'm lucky I can do this much ! ......Where my mom lives is safer......and there are pigeons 2 houses down from her....that hang around.......by me there are only one or two occassionally...............and lots of cats......all spayed and neutered.....from my meighbors yard.....that now share my yard.....or maybe they are now mine !!!!anyway, I'll keep watching and feeding less....and see where it takes me......let me know how much seed I should be leaving out..............thanks Sancto
