researching band on found pigeon

I found a pigeon a couple of weeks ago - NOT a racing homer but appears to be a NY Flying Flight. The seamless band is custom and not affiliated with the NPA or the AU or the IF... If anyone knows the club or person connected with this band please let me know. Thanks!

Unless you get lucky and find someone who knows someone named George, that lives in Flushing, NY and had flying flights.............I doubt you'll be able to trace that band. And with the band saying 2003, who knows if "George" is still around even or still has pigeons. When I see a band like that, it's pretty obvious to me that the bands are for "show" to make sure that if this person gets a "good" bird and sells/gives it away, it will always be known where it came from. Other than that, don't think they really care to be found. Just my opinion I guess, but that's what I think.
I personally wouldn't get overly excited to track down "George".........
