Sick pigeon in Miami

Hi. Please Help!! I'm new to the board and am in need of someone in Miami's (near South Beach) help. I was on vacation in Miami and leaving yesterday (10/3) @ 3:00pm for home in Boston. To make a long story short, I came across a sick/injured pigeon on Lincoln Road (directly in front of the GNC store-near Sushi Samba restaurant). She seemed to be weak and could not fly. She also appeared to maybe be blind and looked unkept. I bought her some seeds, wheat bran (it was ground fine) and water and tried to feed her out of my hands. She pecked a ltitle and drank a bit, but would not fly or move from that area. As my flight home was approaching, I tried to call the Animal Rescue League, etc., but had no luck in finding someone to take her. I paid a couple of people in the area to watch her and try to get her to a vet/avian rescue that would take her.
Anyway, I've been sick with worry about her and guilty about leaving her without being able to find the right help for her. If I were home, I could have taken her with me and located some help.
Is there anyone out there near Lincoln Road who can go by and check on her and perhaps find her a vet, etc. who can try to help? I'll pay any bills, etc. PLEASE HELP!!!!
