Hi Cynthia,
I am quite a big fan of PICAS as they are pretty helpful with advice even if they can't always get into the nitty gritty of things  - but I read this story too in another paper and apparently it was a magistrate and her husband that campaigned for the loft and everyone and everything is happy - why oh why can't other councils follow suit - it would save so much heartbreak. Tania x

Wow - it makes a huge change to read that a local council has got it right!! Echoing Tania's thoughts, why can't all councils use a little common sense!!!
