Baby Animals Day - March 19, 2005 - El Dorado Nature Center

Please plan on seeing us at the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach, CA on
Saturday, March 19, 2005 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Meet some darling baby animals and some pretty cute grown ones too! It's lots of fun!

I'll be there as will The Lily Sanctuary (http://www.lilysanctuary.org) and many more rescue groups and nature related groups. The setting is beautiful!

Trooper, who was one of last year's most popular baby animals, will be there this year as a drop dead gorgeous adult pigeon! (http://www.rims.net/BABYDAYP.HTM) Meet Thumbelina, a juvenile Muscovy duck; Lenny and Squiggy, special needs pigeons .. Lenny is a feral youngster and Squiggy is a huge and elderly Dragoon; Lily for whom the Lily Sanctuary is named (Umbrella Cockatoo); meet a Dwarf Hamster or two; maybe a rabbit or two; and who knows what else that may have arrived in my care by then. (Note: Lily is owned and much loved by Dan and Venette, the founders of the Lily Sanctuary). Even the infamous Mr. Nibbles may be there (Muscovy drake duck).
