Ducks no longer allowed bread

When I read the headline I thought that this was a negative situation so I was pleased to find it was just the opposite.

That is fantastic news and they should take this action every ware. I have to watch every time I go to the lake loads all the people literally coming there with the bag of bread. They don’t keep their stupid children eating only bread and I don’t know what makes them believe that birds can live on bread. It makes me so extremely angry. I was even contemplating on buying a big sign to put there.

I have seen one too many doing so.

Great news. At our local pond they did post signs last year stating that bread is not good for the ducks, and to please bring vegetables instead. People still feed bread, but also veggies. I was there last summer and a little boy and his sister came to tell me that I shouldn't feed the ducks bread. When I showed them the big bag of salad mix I had, they were happy to see it and dug right in to help feed.
