That is truly amazing. I keep saying it over and over................you never know what these birds will do. They say a pigeon fanciers worst nightmare is for every bird he ever lost to return home at the same time. Can you imagine???

Wow, how amazing!
She remembered her old home, even nesting box. Aren't they smart? I guess wherever she has been all this time, she wasn't happy and flew back home as soon as she could. Reti |

I think that's what happened to this banded pigeon I saw eating with the ferals every morning - that is, he stopped coming. But I didn't hold him hostage - honest! He went of his own free will.
I think he got sick of the freedom he had and maybe realized his home might not be so bad after all. Well think of it: free food every day, clean water brought to you each day, a nice warm bed to lie in every night, free health care, and you don't have to do a single thing at all to get it. MY GOD! SOMETIMES I WISH I WAS A PET PIGEON! ![]() |

Wow! That is amazing, to think she escaped the hands of someone who must have known what a good bird she was! I'm glad she made it home, and what a miracle!
