Hi all,

As most of you know, I am a volunteer for Mickaboo Cockatiel Rescue, a non-profit organization that helps all kinds of companion birds, not just cockatiels. Many of these birds come from horrible circumstances, and sometimes they are loved but just not well take care of due to lack of knowledge on their caretakers part. Mickaboo not only rehabilitates the birds that come into the organizaion, but also finds loving "forever" homes for them through a very strict screening process. We also educated potential adopters as well as the general public on good bird cared. While we hope that word gets out, people become educated, and we are needed less, we are finding that we are needed more and the costs to care for these birds just keep rising. I am walking in the "Human Race" on May 7th in an effort to raise much needed funds for these birds in need. My goal is $250.00, but I hope with your help I can surpass this goal. No matter how small or large your donation is, 100% of it will go towards the care of the birds, so please give anything you can.
