Thanks for posting that link, Nancy. I wish that it had been the owner that provided the fare, though! I had read earlier that he considered it too expensive and rather hoped that he had changed his mind and that the oigeon was worth that to him.
However, I expect it will make little difference to Billy who will be delighted when he is finally home. Cynthia |

Pigeon home after New York Detour Excellent question! I have no idea what the regular passenger pigeon fare is for a Transatlantic flight! Now I wonder: was he offered in flight services? Meals? Entertainment? Did he have to clear customs and immigration? Did he need a pigeon passport? Was his quarantine spent at the airport in London? Who paid for that? How is he now?
