One of the people I sent the petition to says the car swerved to hit him deliberately. Maybe it swerved to hit the pigeons...I have seen that happen.

I was wondering whether a Hall of Love post would be appropriate? He may not have been a member, but he was one of us.

It is heartbreaking.
I think a Hall of Love thread would be an appropriate way to honor a sweet man that was a member in spirit....definately a kindred spirit.

If anyone deserves a tribute, Joseph Zeman does. We had our own pigeon man in our city when I was growing up and there is a part of me that believes he helped form the foundation of my love of pigeons and other birds and animals.

This story really got to me. This is the second elderly Pigeon person that we have lost recently. Well he is with God now. No one will ever be mean to him again. And I don't feel so bad knowing that there is someone like Joseph taking care of all of our pigeons that have left this realm before us.

I do believe that another member posted about his tragic passing right after it happened .. will have to go look for that thread.

What a wonderful person to have been lost so tragically. I know all the pigeons that went before him welcomed him home.

Yes, if anyone wants to write a Hall Of Love, please feel free to do so.

This Story Was Very Sad And I Know His pigeons Miss Him More Then Anyone.
I Have To Say Thanks To The Writer That Wrote About Him And His best Friends (The Pigeons) She did A outstanding Job. She Made Me Cry From Her Words It Made Me Feel Like I Really Know This Man. We Need More Writers Like Her To Write Storys On Pigeons She Seems Like A Careing Soul.
