I saw that on the news...bless their hearts. Now if plan A didn't work they always could have resorted to plan B, which was to end up on Pete's porch.

In fact I wouldn't be a bit surprized if thats where they ended up yesterday.

It's o.k. Pete, no one will tell. Thats where I'm going when my husband finally puts his foot down about all these birds we have here.

That is such a cool picture. I also hope they are SAFE and SOUND.

I guess the smell of turkeys in the oven everywhere....must have stirred them up and caused them to panic.

I'd like to think they got off somehere safe but I don't know.

Wild turkeys are magnificent - I was so naive to think that turkeys couldn't fly until I heard that they were bred so large they couldn't take off.

One of my jobs to do on my holiday in early December is to leaflet drop a 1000 leaflets in my town about why turkeys should not be eaten at Christmas.... If I can persuade just a couple of people to think again it wil be worth it.

As you can guess I am vegetarian - of course........

I want to hear more about this story! Lol, the train one is great too. I didn't see their suitcases in the picture, they must have put them into baggage already.

They were probably captured and released back into the wild.
