guyz how can u tell if hen is goin to lay eggs soon or how can u tell if hen is pregnet??

well birds don't get pregnant they lay eggs, they are not mammals. usually they lay about 8 or more days after they mate. if they are making a nest and the pair are billing they will lay soon.

they been mating for almost a week now and they keep mating but they r not making any nest but i have a nest for them

give it a few weeks, and some pine needles, they like making nest with those.

if they are building a nest. usually not long, there is no strict guide lines on mother nature, just wait and they will lay sooner or later, if the loft is crowded and they keep getting disturbed sometimes they will not want to lay, so give them all they need and some peace and quite and they will make a family...and keep going if you do not replace the eggs with dummy eggs, so that is important too, two or three rounds is enough IMO.
