Neck nestReading the hands on way, thread, of how to calm down a very upset peeper squeaker. Made me think of what I do too. Very simular in some ways. Once the baby is feed and clean, I have a neck scarf or kerchef I think it is called. (You know the item those gang bangers wear on their heads). I fold the it in the large pyrimid shape then take the point up to the long flat edge lining up the left side -along the large straight edge and saftey pin the kerchef into a small pocket with the ends free tp tie around my neck. The pocket I line with napkins and place the babie in to sit sidewise. It is snuggly, close to the vibrations of calm talk you give it and near your heart beat. When I start the baby out just after the eyes open. They are so adjusted to the neck nest, they sit happily insde as I drive, walk through a store, (I have even snuck it to work and everyone thought I was wearing a neck scarf for fashion!) At home I do alot of chores with baby on my neck. Soon when they are big enough they peep over the edges to see the world. Babies jump out on the table to eat and crawl back in when they are down like kangaro babies! Neck nest work for a long time, bring an extra measure of closeness. Of course I have to invent a sock diaper, as they will try to wiggle their hind ends out and over the edge of the scarf to do a "duty". It is amazing when people say pigeons are dirty, they have no idea to what lengths they go to not soil their beds, nest, and personal space, giving the opportunity to be selective of where to "duty". At least all the ones I have raised up are more selective-Fanny on theother hand, is a coop bird hopelessly in love with Mr Hooters; And his "social problems" have him clueless. Does anyone know if the breeding act is a learned by visual behavior, if so are there videos? Mr. Hooter needs help!

You are so funny.
I love the neck snuggley pocket thing. If I had figured something like that out my life would have been so much easier. I'll try it. About Mr Hooter, the thought of a pigi x movie is pretty funny too. Good luck with that.
